thinking kinda day!
So here I sit on the laptop waiting for my pearl colored nails to dry, pondering things that really have no need for pondering ;) But sometimes I just like to put things down on paper (or blogger rather)!
So one of my sons is in the background playing xbox games since the weather is so raining and gloomy, two of our other kids are with there mother headed to another town and I am sitting here thinking of baby names that I like....no we are NOT having any more kids to add to our crazy loving life, but none the less, maybe someone reading this post will fall in love with the names and use them!! So yes, I do have a step daughter, but I have boundries with her as any step mother would have, ear piercings, hair cuts, the "mom" things that I would love to do with her, I have to step back in the shadows and allow her "real" mom to do. So girl names come to mind.... I adore Tensly, Bently and Ellie. The name Timber has crossed my mind, but it doesn't really come up first on my list. I can imagine combing her hair and oddly enough I look WAY into the future and imagine lunch dates, shopping, christmas gathering and boy talk with "her". It's crazy were and how life takes you in different directions! I am so very thankful I have a step daughter to do some of these things with, but oddly it's just not the same. Maybe one day we shall adopt a little girl who doesn't have a family or a "mom" and we shall be adventures together then :) Until that conversation comes up with the husband (or out loud with me) I will be thanking my lucky stars for the 3 beautiful children we have! Today my son and I will make believe we live in a castle far away and superheros' come to save the princess from bad guys, wild animals or fire breathing dragons- nothing really makes my heart happier than using my imagination with him and watching him play. His whole imagination and heart goes into playing out these wild scenes and I often catch myself watching him and forgetting my roles as the "princesses". Which might I add irritates my little boy that I'm not staying in character :)
So for anyone looking for baby girl names, there are some of my favorite ones- out on the table for you to grab up! Until next time, I have some playing to do!

Holy Wowza what another great workout!
So this whole exercise thing has been high on my priority for a solid 2 months now and some nights just kick my buns! Always feels so great to accomplish a sweaty workout and yet sometimes so hard to motivate myself to go! Isn't it crazy how hard it can be do go, yet you KNOW it makes you feel like a million dollars that you did something for your body!? Maybe it's just me... I tell ya, I sure look at my pinterest board often to keep that motivation going! It's actually called "my body- my control" and it really is my control! I am not a dieter, never will be, but I definitely run so I can eat!

There are a few motivational pictures I have captured along the way! Funny because they are sooo true and I have always wanted to wear some daisy dukes....and feel like I should :)

Let's Personalize those pews...or chairs....
So one of the other attention to details that I enjoyed doing, was customizing "signs" for the mother/father of the bride and mother/father of the groom. I got to scrapbook these things and make them how I wanted, also showing off the amount of years they have tolerated each other- I mean loved each other, of course- :) It was another surprise to them and a nice touch for family and friends to see. Plus I have to say I am so proud to have parents that weathered hardships together. I hate to admit, but I have been twice (and final) married.....eeeeeggg BUT fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me right?! At least that's what I like to think!
Anyway back to the blog at hand here. So these are my creations~
None the less, I hope you get the idea. I do have a wonderful life saving cricut machine, which aided in helping me cut the shapes out and I was able to embellish the signs with the colors I had in my wedding as well. Simple, but yet a hit and we got so many comments on the details of this wedding! I only hope to give ideas for someone else to make their wedding special and unique as well.

| I guess it's hard to see, but the small rectangle on the bottom right is the date they were married! |

| Ok so my family is really laid back and they enjoyed the sign so much, they wore theirs :) Now the top hat on the other hand? That was his own personal touch! Hahaha |
Our Parents First (Dates)! What a great wedding idea~
I would love to be a wedding "idea" person, but unfortunately there is no such thing:) So I will share with you some of the great ideas I had for my wedding and continue to add some superb ideas for other brides to be!
I was very detail oriented and wanted (just like any other bride) to have memorable things incorporated into our wedding day. One of my favorite ideas to include our parents were the "how they met" touch.

So this was so much fun and it was actually a surprise to our parents also! We sometimes forget how helpful our parents are and making something special for them was really fun. Anywho, I wrote about their first date, which can actually be very comical, sweet and it was great to share that with other family and friends! I actually got a few tears from this one, but they were happy tears so it was ok!! I will post some other ideas soon, I figure I need to start small and keep you interested? Right?
What am I doing?
Oh holy cow, I am soooo not a blogger and I think I quite possibly may be a fish out of water on this one! I plan on getting better and better as I go and one day soon posting some useful things! I have been inspired by so many people this past year to try new things and although I am far from a writer, I am definatly a "tryer". We shall see where this takes me (and you)!
